Palm Beach Homeowner’s Insurance Company Not Required to Defend Insured Against Herpes Claim

The Fourth District Court of Appeal recently ruled that a South Florida man’s homeowner’s insurance company did not have to defend him against a claim from his ex-girlfriend stating that he “intentionally withheld information regarding his sexually transmitted diseases and intentionally infected [her] with the herpes virus in order to enslave her both sexually or romantically, or both.”
