Jeffrey Kirby
Jeffrey D. Kirby is a partner in Goldman, Daszkal, Cutler, Kirby & Galsterer, a Florida personal injury law firm. After getting his Florida law license in 1990, he spent ten years working as an attorney at a personal injury defense law firm. In June 2000, he brought his litigation expertise to Goldman & Daszkal, P.A. He concentrates his practice on all litigation matters involving significant injury cases, which include serious car accidents, construction accidents, serious brain or spinal cord injuries, and wrongful death.
A personal injury lawyer meets people during one of the most difficult times of their lives, when they must cope with injury, medical costs, loss of work or lifestyle, and sometimes loss of a loved one. Mr. Kirby, in focusing on serious injuries, takes great care to protect the rights and dignity of his clients. His years as a litigator for insurance companies gave him unique knowledge of how they handle claims and defend cases. He knows the best way to present a claim for damages and how to avoid or defeat defenses commonly presented by insurance carriers.
Mr. Kirby has extensive trial experience. While he will work to find the most efficient method of obtaining damages for his clients, including negotiations and mediation, he is not shy about presenting his clients’ claims to a judge or jury. His success record in the courtroom has helped countless victims of negligence get compensation, including people injured by dangerous conditions on someone’s property, people injured by a faulty or defective product, people injured by negligence or abuse from a nursing home staffer and all types of negligence cases.
Mr. Kirby received a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs and Economics from Florida State University in 1987. He obtained his law degree from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in 1990. He has been admitted to practice law in the state of Florida since 1990. He is a member of the Broward and Palm Beach County Bar Associations, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
