25th Work Anniversary
Goldman and Daszkal, P.A. is delighted to celebrate the 25 year work anniversary of Lorraine Lambert. Over the last 25 years, Lorraine’s hard work, dedication, and loyalty have been vital to our success. Lorraine joins our Office Manager, Mary Fredericks, who also celebrated her 25th anniversary with the firm last year. Both Mary and Lorraine are assets to our work family, and we are extremely proud of their accomplishments.
Goldman and Daszkal, P.A. is also proud to celebrate several employees who have completed 10 or more years with the firm. We are thankful for their dedication and hard work and honored to have such a great staff who provide our clients with stability during difficult times.
In The Community
Gilda’s Club South Florida held its 21st annual “Live from South Florida…It’s Saturday Night!” in Fort Lauderdale on April 8th, 2017. As a supporter of Gilda’s Club, Goldman and Daszkal, P.A. attended this entertainment event that brought comedians to center stage while raising funds to enable Gilda’s Club to operate in South Florida.
Gilda’s Club is a non-profit organization named in honor of comedian Gilda Radner – one of the original cast members of Saturday Night Live. The organization, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, offers free programs for men, women, teens, and children as well as their families and friends who have been touched by cancer. Congratulations to Attorney Sean Pleus who was recently elected to serve as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Gilda’s Club. Sean has been a member of the Board of Directors at Gilda’s Club since January, 2016.
Leadership Broward Class 35 Graduation:
Sean Pleus recently finished a 10-month leadership development program with Leadership Broward, an organization created to cultivate and expand community leadership across Broward County. As part of the development program, each program member was given a community project. Sean’s project was to help Children’s Harbor, a 501(c)(3) child welfare organization that aims to ensure foster children stay united as a family – keeping siblings together, raising them, and giving them the professional guidance they need to rebuild their lives.
Sean, along with seven of the other members, ended the project with a presentation to the entire class about what they accomplished. After the presentations were complete, the entire class of 55 members participated in a graduation ceremony. “This has been a very rewarding experience for me, as I have been able to learn more about myself, how to become a more effective leader, and how I can impact others and the community in a positive way. Having the opportunity to give back to such a great organization like Children’s Harbor has been very rewarding and an experience I will never forget.”
